Safe & Controlled Tree Felling Chester, Cheshire & North Wales

Treefellers provides professional tree felling and removal services throughout Chester, Cheshire, North Wales and the wider North West. Our experienced arboricultural teams can safely remove trees of all sizes, including trees in restricted or difficult-to-access locations where conventional felling methods may not be suitable.

Tree removal may be necessary where a tree has become dangerous, diseased, structurally unsound or unsuitable for its location. It can also be required to facilitate construction, groundwork, infrastructure and site clearance projects. Our approach is always to consider whether removal is genuinely necessary and, where appropriate, identify alternative tree management solutions first.

Controlled Felling & Sectional Dismantling

Not every tree can simply be felled from the ground. Where buildings, roads, gardens, power infrastructure or other obstacles are nearby, trees may need to be dismantled carefully in sections using specialist climbing, rigging and access techniques.

Our tree felling capabilities include:

Felling of small, medium and large trees

Sectional dismantling in restricted spaces

Removal of dead, diseased or dangerous trees

Removal of trees affecting buildings or infrastructure

Tree removal for construction and groundwork projects

Difficult-access tree felling

Emergency tree removal

Stump removal and treatment following felling

Domestic & Commercial Tree Removal

Our tree surgeons undertake tree felling for homeowners as well as commercial organisations, contractors, schools, local authorities and landowners. We have extensive experience working in demanding locations where careful planning and controlled removal are essential.

For commercial and construction projects, our wider mechanical vegetation clearance capability means we can also undertake larger-scale tree and scrub clearance. This allows Treefellers to provide a complete vegetation management solution where tree removal forms part of a wider development, civil engineering, rail or site clearance project.

Responsible Tree Removal & Site Clearance

Safety and responsible working practices are fundamental to every tree removal project. We plan the appropriate method of felling around the tree's size, condition, surrounding structures, access and site conditions, helping to minimise disruption and protect people and property.

Following removal, we can provide stump grinding or mechanical stump excavation and processing, helping to leave the area ready for its next use. Where appropriate, timber and arisings can also be processed as part of the clearance operation.

Before any tree is felled, its legal status should also be checked. Trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order generally require local authority consent, while certain trees within conservation areas are subject to notification requirements. Larger-scale woodland felling may also require a Forestry Commission felling licence.

If you need a tree safely felled or removed in Chester, Cheshire or North Wales, contact Treefellers for a no-obligation quotation.
